The New Jersey Department of Education’s Office of Special Education and the NJ Special Education Advisory Council (NJ-SSEAC) honored and spotlighted this accomplishment at their 4th Annual Special Education Celebration

March 16, 2026:

The New Jersey Council for Exceptional Children committee has nominated Josephine Hunt as our 2025-2026 Ringelheim Award Winner. The Ringelheim Award is our highest award given to someone who emulates what Dan Ringelheim stood for helping change, for the better, education for all of America’s handicapped children.
